Overview
The Orb – C Batter C is a CD+DVD release built around a short film called Battersea Bunches, originally screened in 2010. Alex Paterson (The Orb) teamed up with graphic artist/video maker Mike Coles on this project. The film is centered on footage from 1956 of three children taken on a trip through London — old 8mm-style memory footage that's blended and overlaid with new film shot in 2010, revisiting those same locations to show how much (or how little) they'd changed over half a century. The DVD contains the complete video installation as it appeared in the original exhibition.
