Overview

Doing as they are told by their parents, young girls swear in front of a top university that someday they will be admitted to it. Through a child’s perspective, home videos that presumably remain in the memories of mothers and fathers wishing for their children’s happiness are ironically transformed into an archive revealing the egotism of parents and the social structures that lie behind it. Stitched together out of home videos from the filmmaker’s own childhood, is this film a black comedy or a child’s small act of revenge?
