Overview

„Forgotten Voices“ is a documentary about people who have been driven from their homes by the ongoing war in Sudan, and it tells their stories in all their urgency and pain. The film offers a close look at one of the conflicts the world has largely stopped paying attention to. Through personal interviews and footage from everyday life, it gathers testimonies of the war, memories of what the 2019 revolution once promised, and the daily reality of fleeing and being displaced, often more than once. It is about losing home, arriving somewhere new, and trying to stay connected to where you come from and to your own culture. „Forgotten Voices“ brings back stories that usually go unseen.
