Overview

Twin Peaks is a 0/10 for me. The show starts with an interesting mystery, then immediately gets lost in endless weird scenes, pointless subplots, and characters who barely act like real people. Fans call it deep and artistic, but most of the time it feels confusing just for the sake of being confusing. The pacing is painfully slow. Important storylines crawl forward while random nonsense gets huge amounts of screen time. Instead of creating suspense, the show often creates boredom. Many scenes feel like they exist only because the writers thought they were strange, not because they actually improve the story. The atmosphere and music are good, but they can't save a show that I found frustrating to watch. By the end, I wasn't intrigued or satisfied—I was just glad it was over. What many people see as a masterpiece, I see as an overhyped, self-indulgent mess that values weirdness over storytelling.
