Overview

When Eva, an 11-year-old Greek-Romanian girl with a speech impediment, loses both her parents in an accident on the same day, Lukas, her reclusive racist grandfather who does not has ever seen, he is the only relative who can take over her guardianship, but he stubbornly refuses. Eva's unknown fate is then taken over by Marina, one 40-year-old social worker with a broken family, who decides to fight with Luke and his past, thus forcing him and herself to face their salvation for the first time.
