Overview
Tawq Al-Banat is a 2014 Syrian period drama set in the alleyways of old Damascus during the French occupation. When a father's youngest and most beloved daughter is kidnapped by a man who wrongly suspects the family of collaborating with the French, the truth dies with him — leaving the girl to grow up in a stranger's home, unaware of her true identity. A sweeping, multi-season tale of family, love, and loss.
