Overview

An abstract sci-fi narrative that speculates on the rise of the sea levels in a near future influenced by the planetary growth of the computational networked world. As a thought experiment, in this work it is speculated that computational societies accelerated global warming and brought harsh living conditions. As a consequence, it resulted in a desolated landscape of the earth’s surface reduced to sand and vast in sea water which forced humans to migrate underground. This work is an audiovisual installation created in collaboration with Assunta Alegiani (as the duo open.circuit) and is composed of a video projection and sand on the installation space.
