Overview

Two recruits desert from the ranks of the Peruvian Army. They experience firsthand the persecution of Sergeant Cuadra. The Taitas—synonyms for Gods, Masters, Fathers—represented by the Army soldiers, blending the customs, dances, and foods of the celebrations of the famous landaruto (haircutting ceremony).
