Just two weeks before their wedding, we follow Sam and Maggie on a hike, as they explore the meaning of place. Sam wonders what he can hold on to, and if there are places he can escape to that will not fade. In Place of a Time Before addresses our relationship with landscape, and our struggles with holding on to people and places that inevitably change. Where do we find refuge? How do we reconcile reality with wonder?
