Overview

Video collage with fragments of the correspondence between my parents before my birth. I tour the last work space in my father's life, and the current one of my mother. I try to intrude on the timeline of images and sounds. The places constructed in this piece are based on a collage-reading where one perceives the desire for encounter and the longing for the place of origin (Corrientes) while being in the capital of the country (Buenos Aires); and the work and economic situations of that moment, which govern the decisions to be in one space or another. I assemble memories to form correspondences between territories of work and territories of mischief and games; palpable and imagined places, our own and those of others.
