Overview
From the jet set to the schoolyard! Cocaine is more prevalent in Denmark than ever before. And those who use cocaine are getting younger and younger. In the 1980s and 1990s, cocaine was a luxury drug reserved for the rich and sophisticated. The price was well over 1,000 kroner per gram, which automatically relegated the drug to fashionable circles. Today, the price of the white powder has more than halved, and cocaine has spread to all corners of Danish society. In the program, we meet students at a public school in Assens on Funen, where students as young as fifth graders have sold drugs during recess. Singer Nanna and author Henrik List also talk about their own experiences with cocaine.
