Overview

The film tells about modern youth and their attitude to the Great Patriotic War. The protagonist comes from a Russian city to a Belarusian village, where, together with a friend, he finds out how his great-grandfather ended up in a German concentration camp as a child. The difficult village life, joint work and rest, rafting down the river in search of a village burned by the Nazis unite the friendship of the guys even more. Memories of living participants of past events reveal to friends the secrets of the past, which can no longer be read in history books.
