Overview

Andy Schleck was one of the brightest Tour de France riders of his generation. His battles with Lance Armstrong and Alberto Contador, particularly in the mountains, set the Tour alight. He won the race in 2010 and was runner up in 2009 and 2011. Yet before he turned 30, Schleck hung up his wheels due to an ongoing knee injury sustained in the 2014 Tour de France. How did Schleck cope with an early exit from the sport in which he was so successful? And how did he move on?
