Overview

Videographer Viktor Dudchenko, and Artist/Musician David Fortin met and became friends four years ago. After many miscellaneous collaborations, Viktor suggested doing a documentary profile of David. Viktor’s amazing ability to capture the moment, along with their casual familiarity, has resulted in a remarkably honest look into the lives and artistic endeavors of David, a 68-year-old gay man. David has managed to stay faithful to being an artist in a reductionist world that tends to categorize and pigeonhole the most talented among us. His journey has been at once self-defeating and self-enlightening. The end result is a morality tale for everyone and honest depiction of a steadfast individual that has managed to survive while remaining upon an authentic journey in his personal life and in the arts.
