Through the eyes of a Drag Queen, “Afuera” unfolds between searching and listening. Theos Monteros, slowly transforming in Thessa Mercury, interview several gay individuals, hearing their stories and experiences, confronting each other’s realities. This documentary explores and reflects on rejection, fear, misfortune and challenges, as well as shining a light on a seemingly hopeful future.
