Overview

Explore 100 years of drama, passion, and excitement in CENTURY OF FOOTBALL. At the dawn of the 20th century Preston North End were the finest team in the country. At the very end of the 19th century, The Invincibles were the ruling champs. Now, as we enter the 21st century, Manchester United dominate the game. In the intervening 100 years, the game has produced hundreds of star players, from the early years of the White Horse final through to the emergence of Michael Owen at the 1998 World Cup finals. Featuring rare archival footage, exclusive interviews, and the most memorable moments from the most thrilling matches, CENTURY OF FOOTBALL, presented by Radio 5 Live's Alan Green, is an essential addition to any football fan's DVD collection.
