Overview

This film explores the personal chapters from my mother's early life in Vietnam, where the impact of events leads her on a journey away from home to an unknown destination. Through the process of rotoscoping, I wanted to deliver the story in a simplistic visual style but also in an engaging manner by having my mother directly recall her experiences through voice over.
