‘I should like to build a farmstead’ tells the story about everyday life though 100 years in Danish farming. At the farm, in the ‘smallholder association’ and in the local community. The close and personal stories portray a century of both great development, major changes and many challenges - both for the farmer, his family, the helpers and the hole surrounding community.
