Overview

Restless in Russia and pining for a better life, Tanya (Elena Roth) desperately adds her photograph to a catalog of mail-order brides. She soon heads to America to wed a middle-aged workaholic (Richard Virga), naïvely believing this will solve all her problems. But the normal complexities of married life are accentuated by the fact that Tanya and her new husband barely know each other -- and that he has no clue how to communicate with women.
