Overview
With Islam came the dominance also of a new race in Canaan, the Arabs. After a brief interlude of Crusader (Frank) domination, the Mamelukes (Turks and Circassians) came to rule the Middle East. And finally all the holy cities of Islam came under the protection of the Ottoman Turks. An adult education lecture by Dr. William Neidinger.
