Usemono Sagashi

Overview

Lost items are usually linked to tiny spirits known as usemono. Though they are not typically visible, usemono are located by finders, who utilize them to assist ordinary citizens retrieve their lost possessions. Yakan is one such finder—though he seems disinterested in using his skills for benevolent acts unless there is payment involved. Yakan's notoriety catches the attention of Otowa, a samurai searching for items that were taken from his family by a group of bandits. Though Yakan is reluctant to help since he has another job, he is nonetheless roped into Otowa's predicament, which seems to be more complicated than originally portrayed. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
