Overview
Using drugs, magic, and psychological manipulation, Ilyana Glayne trained Magnus to be her obedient pet, ready to lick her feet if she wished. But when Magnus broke free from Ilyana's command, he turned his jaws on his master, seeking revenge for all he had suffered. When a reader wakes up as Ilyana, she resolves to escape this fate. However, Magnus is already under her thumb—and the more she tries to distance herself from him, the more he pleads for her return. Try desperately as she might to free the beast, it comes running right back to her.
