Overview
As the 808 towns of Edo are enveloped in the darkness of night, someone rustling in the attic appears. Nezumi Kozo Jirokichi is a noble thief who takes wealth from the wealthy and distributes it among the poor. Osuzu is a townswoman who has lost her husband and is living a difficult life with her young child. Bonji Yasugoro and Chogoro try to use Osuzu to uncover Nezumi Kozo's true identity.
