An unfinished love song connects two people in Tokyo and Bangkok. Sota is an overly serious researcher who was suddenly ordered to work in Tokyo. One day he returns from Tokyo to Bangkok and reunites with Kai whom he had feelings for when they were students. Kai is active as a photographer and also pursuing music when they reunite. This makes Sota a bit nervous. Kai, however, is surprised that Sota recalls the 'unfinished song' he once sang for him. The duo slowly grow closer once again, but each have a secret as to why they can't complete the song. Yet this unfinished song connecting the two of them begins to resonate with both once again!

Hence the question arises: What makes a human being a real mother?

Confronted by the unexpected realities of single motherhood, Marissa and Krystina long for the fabled "village" to help raise their children. As one attempts a fresh start by creating a communal living space for single mothers, the other searches for new ways to connect and build a life in a small town far away from her family. This intimate documentary explores the invisible struggles of single motherhood, revealing the strength and resilience it takes to raise a child when you feel like you're on your own.

Inspired by the local dish of Miyazaki Prefecture, 'lettuce roll'. A work that depicts the simple, deep love of a certain parent and child. Kiyo lives in a house at the foot of a mountain, receiving support from her neighborhood friends, her son and daughter-in-law, and a care helper. Then she receives a phone call from her son, who informs her that her daughter, Akiki, who had left home after a big fight more than ten years ago, is coming back to her parents' house. Akiyo leaves a note on her calendar saying "lettuce maki," a local dish in Miyazaki Prefecture.
