Irving Klaw presents

An allegory film based on the familiar painting 'Rock of Ages' by Johannes Adam Simon Oertel. The film is a superimposition of a 1896 film, "Upper Rapids, from Bridge" and the imagery of a woman clinging to a stone cross, filmed at Biograph's studio. The Edison Manufacturing Company would make a similar film in October, 1902.
