In a plot to take control of the Lazy Y ranch, which holds water rights to the local area, a rancher kidnaps the Lazy Y owner's daughter. The ranch foreman manages to eventually foil the plot and get the girl.

Dick Rawlins, a cowpoke on the Jackson ranch, is in love with Inez, the beautiful daughter of the ranchowner; planning to ask Inez to marry him, Dick goes to town to buy her an engagement ring, eventually going into hock to Bob for $500. When Dick returns to the ranch, he learns that he has been fired as the result of a mysterious stranger's testimony. Dick goes to the bunkhouse and sacks out; while asleep, he dreams that at Bob's request he has faked a suicide in order to avoid paying his debts.

Dick, an easterner, comes west to try his luck at mining. No sooner does he arrive than Hartley, the local gambler and all-around villain, commences to make sport at his expense. Dick endeavors to bear it patiently, but a clash is inevitable, until the arrival at the village store of Mary Brown, one whom all held in respect, excepting Hartley.

Young Harry Farman and Eloise Wendell are engaged to be married. Harry is a wealthy young fellow and Eloise is a society girl, and both find pleasure in their clubs and other such luxuries that the city affords the fashionable, wealthy set. Eloise, who has rode a hobby of philanthropy is engaged with her club and other clubs, who are holding a tag day, the funds to go to the children of the poor. Eloise, with another friend, invades a saloon in a fashionable hotel, and are invited to have a drink by two men seated at a table. Eloise, in fun, lifts the glass to her lips when Farman enters. The match is broken off and the next day Farman, with a friend, goes west.

The son of the sheriff of Arizona Territory is an outlaw. When he's captured and sentenced to hang his mother and two sisters plead with the Governor for mercy.

Pretty Bessie King has all the cowboys' hearts thumping ragtime jigs against their ribs whenever she comes to town, and Alkali is the hardest hit of all. After a series of flirtations she finally takes Alkali for better or worse and they are married. A year later a small son and heir keeps Alkali doing Marathons across the midnight floors.

Walter Johnson, a young college chap in the east, receives word that he has been left a legacy of one million dollars by an eccentric uncle, providing he marries the old fellow's niece who lives in Mustang, Arizona.

A Western Maid is a 1910 Western

Tom Bruce finds a thespian's life is not a happy one, and when the theatrical company goes on the rocks, he lands in a western town where a school master is desired. In order to eat three times a day, Tom teaches school and not the least interesting of his pupils is pretty Vicky Withers. An uncouth rancher known as Bill Stone loves Vicky, and when he sees that Tom Bruce and the girl are mutually attracted, he goes to Vicky's father.

Tom Perkins, a Chicago youth, is arrested, charged with being one of the carbarn bandits, to whom is attributed a series of bold robberies. The disgraced parents also suffer for their son's crimes, the elder Perkins being thrown out of a job, and they are forced to leave their rented cottage, on account of the bad character of their son.

Evelyn Hicks, a beautiful daughter of the west, becomes engaged to Broncho Billy, while at an informal dance. Sheriff Hardley, laid up with an injured ankle, sends for Broncho Billy, swears him in as sheriff, and instructs him to capture the two horse thieves that were causing considerable disturbance in the surrounding territory. Imagine the surprise, humiliation and pain Broncho Billy suffers when he discovers that one of the bandits is the brother of the girl he loves.

A Western Woman's Way is a 1910 Western

Jason Watkins, a real estate and loan agent, enters his office in the little Arizona town of Navajo, to find that during the night robbers have visited the place and broken into his safe, taking with them a large sum of money and other valuables. Watkins immediately notifies the sheriff, a posse is hurriedly organized and a search made for the culprits.

Bart McGrew, a notorious outlaw, lives in the hills with his young wife. McGrew's capture will be rewarded by the local lawmen, so Dan Trent acts to secure his arrest. McGrew suspects his wife and Dan Trent are committing treacherous acts against him.

Wally Bristow is a wealthy young chap infatuated with a heartless society girl. He discovers that she is not true to him and leaves her. At the club he runs into an argument among the members to the effect that none of them could start out with nothing and return in a year, married and successful. Wally takes his friends up on the bet. Wally goes west and secures employment on a ranch. He becomes the butt of the cow punchers jokes, and his employer's daughter thinks him a prig until, one day, she observes him thrash a ranch bully for ill-treating a dog. Soon after she promises to be his wife. The society girl, meantime, hears of it and starts west to break up the match. Arriving in the neighborhood she sends a note to her rival saying that the man is untrue to her and to go to a certain place and she will see him with another woman.

A woman of faith in the nineteen hundreds attempts suicide and is then transported to the modern day world.

Tom Horn is known throughout the cow country as a hard worker and a hard player. Tom is the leader of a gang. The Buzzard stumbles across oil indications on a homestead occupied by an old man and his daughter. Tom's party agrees it will be a good scheme to jump the claim, and they set out.

Cowboy Lin McLean's restlessness takes him to Denver, where he becomes enamored of a waitress named Katie. Intending to marry her, Lin accompanies Katie back to the ranch, but a traveling rainmaker arrives in the little town, and Katie departs with him after revealing that he is her husband. Visiting Denver for Christmas, Lin adopts Katie's abandoned son Billy, and soon afterwards, the cowboy meets and falls in love with the new station agent, Jessamine "Jessie" Buckner. Lin and Jessie marry, and the little family is happy until Katie, determined to be rid of her neglectful husband and marry Lin instead, appears and drives Jessie away. Realizing that Lin does not love her, Katie poisons herself, and Jessie returns to Lin and Billy.

A young girl has to prove her skillness with the gun against a gang outlaws, revealing herself as the real heroine of a Western town.
