In Confidence is a British television series presented by Laurie Taylor and executive produced by Victor Lewis-Smith, in which a one-on-one in depth interview with a public figure takes place over the course of about an hour. The object of the interview is to try to get to the bottom of who the subject really is and how they think. The show airs on Sky Arts in the UK.

In Depth is a three-hour program that airs monthly on C-SPAN 2 as part of their Book TV programming, and features a different writer each month. Each interview covers the breadth of that author's writing career, and incorporates viewer calls and e-mails. The show is typically broadcast live the first Sunday of each month. The first program was on February 6, 2000, and was a discussion with historian John Lukacs. For the first several years of the show, episodes were not produced during the summer months. There have been a few exceptions to the practice of featuring one single author, as with the programs featuring the Strand Bookstore, Frank Williams and Edna Greene Medford's discussion of writings on Lincoln, and John K. Wilson and Jonathan Karp's discussions of the writings of Barack Obama and John McCain. Frequently, the profile will include taped footage of the author's own home or office, so as to give further perspective on how they approach the task of writing. On occasion entire three-hour interviews have been conducted live at the home or office of the featured author.

A fondo (English: In Depth) was a Spanish television interview program hosted by Joaquín Soler Serrano that was broadcast on La Primera Cadena of Televisión Española from 1976 until 1981. The program's mission statement, according to its opening title cards, was to interview "the leading figures in letters, the arts, and sciences." Beginning with Jorge Luis Borges, who was the guest on the first episode of A fondo aired on September 8, 1976, the program played host to some of the Spanish speaking world's most respected intellectuals of the day. In 1976 critics awarded the show a Premio Ondas in the "national television" category.

In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley is a television series sponsored by In Touch Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia and hosted by Charles Stanley. The series airs on the Trinity Broadcasting Network and began airing in 1990. On one episode dated September 11, 2011, it hosted a 10th anniversary remembrance of the terrorist attacks on the September 11 attacks, which featured stories of those who survived the attack.

In the Loop with iVillage is an American television program. The program served as a brand extension of the NBC Universal-owned iVillage website, which focuses on advice and issues of interest to women, and was hosted by actress and comedian Kim Coles, season one The Apprentice winner Bill Rancic, and Ereka Vetrini, who also was in the first season of The Apprentice. The show was produced through the facilities of WMAQ-TV in Chicago, and aired exclusively on stations owned and operated by NBC. This program was originally known as iVillage Live, which premiered on December 4, 2006 with virtually the same format. iVillage Live emanated from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, with Miami-based NBC station WTVJ responsible for the program's production. The show also aired on a one-day delay on Bravo when it launched, but the repeats ended on Bravo after three weeks. On September 4, 2007, NBC Universal Television and iVillage.com officially announced the relaunch of IVillage Live as In the Loop with iVillage. At its initial launch, iVillage Live was hosted by Molly Pesce, Stefani "Sissy" Schaeffer, and Guy Yovan, and featured contributions from Naamua Delaney and Bob Oschack. All five relatively unknown hosts were removed from the program when it was relaunched.
