Volt is a French language news magazine television series for teenagers. It airs on TFO, the French language public broadcaster in Ontario, as well as on Radio-Canada's video on demand website TOU.TV. The show debuted in 1994. The television series ended in December 2010, after 16 years on air.

"Võsareporter" was a television series on Kanal 2 in which the host, Peeter Võsa, helped Estonian people and drew attention to social issues and problems within society. From time to time, experiments were conducted as part of the program. The first episode aired on February 20, 2006. In the spring of 2009 and 2011, the show also featured a song competition called "Võsalaul." The program was broadcast on Mondays at 8:00 p.m.

The WGN Morning News is an American morning television news program airing on CW affiliate and national superstation WGN-TV in Chicago, Illinois. The newscast airs Monday through Friday mornings from 4:00-10:00 a.m. Central Time. The program is formatted as a newscast with a somewhat less serious tone than WGN-TV's other local news programs and is known for its fun and rambunctious nature, with the anchors and reporters often shown more relaxed on-air, often pulling on-air pranks and practical jokes. The 4:00-6:00 a.m. portion of the newscast is more staid in tone to some extent and is a more generalized news/weather/sports/traffic format, while the 6:00-10:00 a.m. portion incorporates feature segments, interviews and includes some humorous elements.

WHIH Newsfront is a television program presented by Christine Everhart in the WHIH World News network, informing about major events from political, scientific, and entertainment news, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Wired Science was a weekly high-definition television program that covered modern scientific and technological topics. In January 2007 PBS aired pilot episodes for three different science programs, including Wired Science. Using Nielsen ratings, CPB-sponsored research and public feedback, PBS selected Wired Science for a 10-episode run in the fall schedule. The program is a production of KCET Los Angeles. In July 2008, the show was officially cancelled.

¡Despierta América! is an American Spanish language morning television show which has aired on the Univision television network since 1997. Its primary targeted audience is the Hispanic population living in the United States. It is broadcast from the network's studios in Miami, Florida, and is hosted by Karla Martinez, Raúl González, Satcha Pretto, Alan Tacher, Ana Patricia González, and Johnny Lozada. Other reporters or celebrities also provide entertainment and gossip segments, and will occasionally appear as guest hosts if one of the regular hosts is unavailable.

Wake Up Call is a show on CNBC that aired in the early morning, premiered from 6 to 8AM ET on February 4, 2002. Later it was moved to 5 to 7AM timeslot. Previous program shown in the same time slot was Today's Business. Originally co-anchored by Liz Claman and Carl Quintanilla, Wake Up Call was hosted by Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, sometimes in conjunction with a guest host. The programme used a slightly different graphics package to other CNBC programmes; in particular, a different format for the ticker. The program ended its run on December 16, 2005 and was replaced by Worldwide Exchange on December 19. Today's Business was the equivalent program on CNBC Europe and used the same theme music as Wake Up Call. That program, which was hosted by Steve Sedgwick, ended its run on March 23, 2007 and replaced by Capital Connection on March 26, 2007. There was also a program on CNBC Asia called Asia Wake Up Call. It merged with Asia Squawk Box in 2003.

Wake Up With Al is a weekday morning weather program on The Weather Channel with live weather updates mixed with recorded segments from the original broadcast. It hosted by Al Roker and Stephanie Abrams.

Wales This Week is a long-running Current affairs television programme that is broadcast on ITV Cymru Wales. The programme deals with a wide range of topics relating to the Welsh Public, and is usually told through the eyes of the Welsh people at the heart of the story. The programme was first broadcast in 1982 on HTV. It celebrates its 30th year on the air in September 2012. It is currently presented by Jonathan Hill.

Wanted is a socially interactive show which employs a broad range of social media to encourage the public to help solve crimes, with viewers being encouraged to provide immediate information anonymously that could prove an arrest or a lead to close the case.
