Testigo is a regional news program aired over GMA-5 Davao. The newscast airs every weekdays before 24 Oras. And also simulcasts on DXGM-AM. Its main newscaster is Tek Ocampo. Tek started with Testigo in 1999 and made a name as a national reporter for GMA News when he left the show in 2002. After his stint with GMA Manila, he came back to Davao to anchor the program once more. It covers the entire Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, Central Mindanao and ARMM.

Texas Monthly Talks was a thirty-minute interview show on public television networks across the state of Texas hosted by Evan Smith, then Editor Emeritus of Texas Monthly magazine. Produced by Dateline NBC veteran Lynn Boswell, the show addressed contemporary issues in Texas politics, business and culture. Premiering in February 2003, the show was an original production of KLRU-TV, the PBS station serving Austin and Central Texas. In 2010 the series was succeeded by Overheard, with the same format, host and producer; the renaming was necessary because Smith had resigned his position at the magazine and had become Editor in Chief of the Texas Tribune. On Texas Monthly Talks Smith regularly interviewed public figures from Austin and around Texas, such as Bill Powers, the president of the University of Texas at Austin, mayors Bill White of Houston, Tom Leppert of Dallas, and Texas Governor Rick Perry. His guests also included notables in national politics, such as presidential candidates Howard Dean, John Kerry, Bill Bradley, John McCain, Joe Biden, Mike Huckabee, Bill Richardson, Hillary Clinton, and John Edwards; in business, such as Southwest Airlines co-founder Herb Kelleher and Whole Foods Market CEO John Mackey; in the media, such as New York Times columnists Maureen Dowd and Frank Rich and newscasters Jim Lehrer, Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Bob Schieffer, and Tom Brokaw; and in entertainment, such as directors Francis Ford Coppola, John Sayles, and David Lynch, singers Ted Nugent and Billy Gibbons, novelist Salman Rushdie, and actresses Lauren Bacall, Lily Tomlin, and Debra Winger.

Thames News was the flagship regional news programme of Thames Television, serving the Greater London region and broadcast on weekdays from 12 September 1977 to 31 December 1992. The news service was produced and broadcast from Thames TV's headquarters at Euston Road in north-west London and during its last few years in operation, from district newsrooms in Dartford in Kent, Guildford in Surrey and Watford in Hertfordshire.

The Agenda plans a similar exercise for the 2011 Ontario provincial election.

The Alyona Show was a current affairs television program hosted by Alyona Minkovski that aired on RT from 2009 to 2012. The show featured in-depth analysis of news stories and also frequently criticizes the mainstream media, national politics in the United States, and the U.S. financial industry. The Big Breakfast was a British light entertainment television show shown on Channel 4 and S4C each weekday morning from 28 September 1992 until 29 March 2002 during which period 2,482 shows were produced. The Big Breakfast was produced by Planet 24, the production company co-owned by former Boomtown Rats singer and Live Aid organiser Bob Geldof. The programme was distinctive for broadcasting live from former lockkeepers' cottages commonly referred to as "The Big Breakfast House", or more simply, "The House", located on Fish Island, in Bow in east London. The show was a mix of news, weather, interviews, audience phone-ins and general features, with a light tone which was in competition with the more serious GMTV and even more serious BBC breakfast programmes.

The Big Breakfast is a Canadian morning news and entertainment program, that aired on the A-Channel stations and CKX from 1997 to 2005. It has no relation to the UK show of the same name. Each A-Channel station produced and broadcast its own Big Breakfast. CKX aired CHMI's Winnipeg edition. The anchors were Jon Ljungberg and Jimmy Mac in Winnipeg, Mark Scholz and Steve Antle in Edmonton and Dave Kelly and Tara McCool in Calgary On December 1, 2004, CHUM Limited officially took over ownership of the A-Channel system, and the stations were re-launched as Citytv on August 2, 2005. The Big Breakfast was also relaunched as Breakfast Television, the name Citytv uses for its similar morning shows, on the same day the stations were rebranded. The A-Channel brand was subsequently transferred to CHUM's former NewNet stations, whose own morning programs were retitled A-Channel Morning.
