Nick News with Linda Ellerbee is an educational children's and teenagers' television show on Nickelodeon that has been shown since 1992. Nick News takes the form of a highly rated and recognized news program for children and teenagers alike, discussing important social, political and economic issues in a format intended for both children and adults. Nightline, or ABC News Nightline, is a late-night news program that is broadcast by ABC in the United States, and has a franchised formula to other networks and stations elsewhere in the world. Created by Roone Arledge, the program featured Ted Koppel as its main anchor from March 1980 until his retirement from the program in November 2005. Nightline airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. Eastern Time, after Jimmy Kimmel Live!. It previously ran for 31 minutes, but in 2011, the program was reduced to 25 minutes. When the program moved to 12:37 a.m. ET, the program was expanded to 30 minutes. In 2002, Nightline was ranked 23rd on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.

Nightline is a New Zealand late night news show currently on TV3 hosted by Sacha McNeil. Nightline, hosted usually in the 10.30pm to 11.00pm timeslot, has a high focus on the arts and current events. It competes directly with TVNZ's Tonight show. Nightline generally runs the entire year, its timeslot being pushed later on some occasions to cater to long-running shows, but traditionally takes a short break over the Christmas period. Previous hosts have included Rachel Smalley, Samantha Hayes, Carly Flynn, Carolyn Robinson, Leanne Malcolm, Sarah Bradley, Joanna Paul and Belinda Todd.

Nightly Business Report is a Business news television magazine broadcast weeknights on public television stations in the United States. In February 2013, CNBC purchased the show and closed the Miami news operations. Tyler Mathisen joined Susie Gharib as co-host when the show relaunched on March 4, 2013. From 1979 to 2013, the show was produced at WPBT in Miami, Florida.

Nintendo Week was a weekly entertainment and news series that reported on the latest and upcoming video games and news concerning Nintendo platforms, including Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS. The series had two hosts, Gary and Alison. It premiered on September 14, 2009 as part of the launch of a redesigned Nintendo Channel, and aired its final episode on March 29, 2012. It was only available via the North American edition of the Nintendo Channel. In the series, the hosts presented new game releases, industry interviews, demonstrations, and previews.

North Tonight was a Scottish nightly regional news programme covering the North of Scotland, produced by STV North.

Northern Exposure was a supplementary video blog for the Northern Scotland edition of the regional news programme, STV News at Six. The first blog was produced on Tuesday June 19, 2007 and as of June 30, 2009, 180 episodes had been made available The blog was presented and produced by Norman Macleod, Andrea Brymer, Kirstin Gove, Chris Harvey and Louise Steel from STV North's studios in West Tullos, Aberdeen on a regular basis.

Not Necessarily the News is a satirical sketch comedy series that first aired on HBO in September 1982 as a comedy special, and then ran as a series from 1983 to 1990. It featured sketches, parody news items, commercial parodies, and humorous bits made from overdubbing or editing actual news footage. It was based on the British series, Not the Nine O'Clock News. Not Necessarily the News was also the birthplace of Rich Hall's sniglets.
