Ding Dong School, billed as "the nursery school of the air", was a half-hour children's TV show which began on WNBQ-TV in Chicago, Illinois a few months before its four-year run on NBC. A precursor to both Sesame Street and Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, the show was hosted live by Frances Horwich, and at one point was the most popular TV series aimed at preschoolers. The show and its host, Miss Frances, were mentioned in the comic strip Peanuts in 1955 and 1956. The show was revived in 1959 as a syndicated program, now videotaped and distributed by National Telefilm Associates. This iteration ran until 1965. Five NBC kinescoped episodes from 1954-1955 are housed at the Library of Congress, in the J. Fred and Leslie W. MacDonald Collection.

Dinky Di's is an early 1990s animated cartoon with anthropomorphic animal heroes who fought to prevent environmental damage and rescue endangered animal and bird species from the satanic Mr. Mephisto. It was produced in Australia by Roo and created by Mel Bradford. Known as the "Friends on freedom's frontier", the squad is well organised with a command center, computer network, and high-tech, amphibious vehicles. They are led by Aussie and Cass, and aided by characters from across the globe. Mr. Mephisto, a shadowy figure with glowing red eyes, uses a gang of stereotypically maligned beasts to do his dirty work: Rancid Rat, Hugo Hyena, Ganny Iguana, and others. Mephisto's true identity, however, is a true mystery to the Dinky Di's, and one which, when solved, will be a major step towards slowing damage to the planet. Dino-Riders is a cartoon television series that first aired in 1988. Dino-Riders was primarily a promotion to launch a new Tyco toy line. Only fourteen episodes were produced, three of which were produced on VHS for the United States. It aired in the U.S. as part of the Marvel Action Universe. The series focuses on the battle between the good Valorians and evil Rulons on prehistoric Earth. The Valorians were a super human race, whilst the Rulons were a mixture of humanoid creatures — both of which came from the future, however ended up transported back in time to the age of Dinosaurs. Once on Earth, the Valorians befriended dinosaurs whilst the Rulons brain-washed them.
